MSP Starch Products Inc., the Canadian manufacturer of Solnul resistant potato starch, announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with Lehvoss Group for the European market.

Lehvoss Group, a fourth-generation family business based in Hamburg, is known for its efficiency, market expertise, and commitment to sustainability, the company reported. Its nutrition division focuses on innovative, science-based ingredients and minerals for dietary supplements, and has deep technical expertise and advanced digital platforms, MSP noted.

Brands and consumers in Europe increasingly prioritize gut health and are looking for natural solutions including prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. Solnul is able to scale up to meet European market demand after reaching several commercial milestones.

“Our gut health portfolio is intentionally selective and built around credible, science-backed ingredients,” said Paul Montgomery, head of product management at Lehvoss Nutrition. “Solnul strengthens our fiber and whole food ingredients offering.”

“We are confident that our Lehvoss Nutrition Health Platform, combined with the recent integration of our AI product assistant, will empower and educate our customers to seamlessly and efficiently incorporate this outstanding and on-trend ingredient into their products,” said Teresita Rudà, head of marketing and brand positioning at Lehvoss Nutrition.

“As demand for fiber continues to grow across Europe, this expansion advances our mission to reunite the microbiome with its favorite food, Solnul, and to bring the benefits of resistant starch to a broader audience,” said Jason Leibert, chief growth officer at Solnul. “Today, the average European consumes only around four grams of the recommended 20 grams of resistant starch per day, highlighting how far modern diets have moved away from this foundational fiber.”

Solnul will engage with industry leaders at Vitafoods Europe 2026, exhibiting at Lehvoss Group’s booth (3C72). On May 6, Solnul will take the stage at the Vitafoods Insights Theater (6H2) as a panelist in the discussion, “Upcycling and Circularity that Scales.”
